"For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.
For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life..."

I found this verse from Psalms and thought it was appropriate for our song today. I hope everyone has a great week back at school!
Hey you should consider singing this song for a given Easter service or during Easter season sometime. It's called "Christ is Risen" by Matt Maher. Check it out here:

I know it's kind of draggy at some parts for easter but it's a nice song and could be sung just for that middle part: "O death, where is thy sting? O hell, where is thy victory? O church, come sing in the light, for God is not dead, he's alive, HE'S ALIVE!"
gotcha
I still need a soloist for the refrain after the Glorias! Any takers?
haha, funny thing....somebody told me that too!
Hey, we should sing "He Reigns!" Someone told me that was a good song!
okay...I'll checkit out
Hey! Y'all should sing "Give You Glory" by Jeremy Camp :D
Lan, I have blessings when your ready! :)
Just want all of you to know how much TOF brightens up the service. I enjoy listening to your message through song and I especially enjoy watching your beautiful faces light up when you sing praises to your Lord!
I don't have anything against "He Reigns" (though I most likely won't be there to sing it) haha
And we can probably hold off on the "Blessings" for now, Toan, haha
We should sing "Blessings" . Someone should have the solo. *cough* Lan *cough* . Haha .
good try Brett, but we are not singing "He Reigns" or "I'll Fly Away"!
In answer to your past question, we should sing "God of this City" for Mission Festival, or maybe Trinity Sunday since we are affirming our faith in God.
And we should sing "I'll Fly Away" for All Saints Day.
AND, we should sing "He Reigns" ASAP!
TOF! Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twuLr5rQmp0 if you've never heard "He Reigns."
It's Amazing! And then tell Kyle we should sing it!
Great job on "We Are Not Empty" guys!
Definitely! You will have a video of all our songs until you return...don't worry!
I expect continued videos once I'm gone! :D
yes, I know....I'm going to bring my camera again next Sunday
way to be expeditious in posting the video, Kyle! btw, you forgot to take pictures after practice today.
well we definitely want to you to sing it with us! We can wait until next summer...
Hm...I dunno. I'd really like to be able to sing it with you guys. And it doesn't have to be super soon, either.
You're not going to be here sunday right ?
And Lan, I found "God of This City". I'm not sure when to sing it though...any ideas?
By the way, I found "Awesome God".
Aww darn, I was planning on singing that Sunday. Thanks for letting me know ahead of time!
Won't be here on July 28 -31 .
That's a good idea! I'll search for it. Maybe we could split it up into parts and/or have the congregation sing with us for part of it.
we should sing 'Awesome God".bring the old school back
yes, you're right. I will try to do a better job remembering to bring my camera
we should try to record more of the songs...
Any takes on the solo? I haven't heard from anyone...
Hey everyone! Please come to practice as quickly as you can after Sunday School this Sunday. This will be our last practice before we sing "Lord Have Mercy". Also, we will begin our "Kyrie eleison" with Pastor for Good Friday. See you Sunday!
MANY THANKS FOR A FINE PRESENTATION TODAY.
Thanks!
Awesome video!
And where is the video from this past Sunday's song?
He and my parents came to visit me. Sorry to take him away. Where was everyone?
By the way, where was Kevin yesterday? We missed him...
I know....we had technical difficulties this time. I did not video during practice because we only had three people at first and then six by the time we were done. So I figured I would have someone video during the service, which would have worked, but the camera went off during the song. I really hate that too! I'm sorry it didn't work out this time.
no video?? whyy? i was looking forward to it!
In case you miss the large-print message above, WE SING THIS SUNDAY! Practice has been scarce lately and we need everyone for our song. Come and sing with us...
hey! nice verse of the day! It kind of sounds familiar.
I just want to tell you that I got your letter. It is very hard for me to write because of my eyesite. ( Andi is sending this for me). Please keep in touch and I am so pleased to hear you are doing well and the TOF are great.
